The Individual Development Plan ( IDP ) is a means by which Pegatron implements its company management
philosophy of “cherishing, cultivating and caring for employees”. The IDP assists management in determining and
aligning the current and needed capabilities of employees for new and current missions and projects compared with the
objectives of the organization.
Each employee prepares their individual development plan. The IDP assists the employee to assess, plan and develop
their capabilities and enables management to align and cultivate capabilities more systematically and effectively. The
interaction between managers and employees is an integral part of the success of Pegatron.
The IDP works on the principle of “teaching in accordance to aptitude”. The Individual Development Plan identifies the
the most necessary work-related capabilities that need to be strengthened, based on an individual's functions and
responsibilities. An annual learning and development plan is then systematically organized based on the IDP. |
